Australian Ambassador calls on Minister Sah

Kathmandu, Nov 5: Australian Ambassador to Nepal, Simon Ernst, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply, Dipak Kumar Sah. During the meeting, issues related to Nepal-Australia bilateral relations, trade and economic collaboration, investment promotion and mutual cooperation were discussed, according to Minister Sah's Secretariat.

On the occasion, Minister Sah thanked the government of Australia for its humanitarian assistance, harmony and support to Nepal in search, rescue and relief sectors after Bhotekoshi and Budhigandaki floods. They also held discussion on further strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the areas of trade expansion, economic partnership and mutual interests in coming days, added the Secretariat.

The two sides also discussed the issue of exploring new possibilities of economic and trade cooperation by further deepening friendly relations between the two countries.
