Dan Bahadur Karki Kathmandu, November 6 The Supreme Court has set November 16 as the hearing date for the writ petition filed by outgoing Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Bahadur Karki. Karki’s petition claims he was unlawfully removed as IGP. He filed it through his lawyers at the Supreme Court on Thursday.
The court administration said the hearing in the writ has been set for November 16. Earlier on Thursday, it had been said that the petition could not be registered because it was “under study.” The government has removed Karki and assigned him as the Prime Minister’s security adviser. Karki has not received the letter of the Council of Ministers’ decision.
