US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Bouldin calls on Foreign Minister Khanal

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 5: US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires, Megan Bouldin, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal today. During the meeting, they discussed a range of bilateral issues following his trip to the United States, according to the Embassy.

As part of the strong U.S.-Nepal partnership, which included U.S. assistance in drafting globally standard trafficking in persons legislation, she urged swift action on its passage as well as progress on key recommendations that will help reduce the risk of human trafficking following the disaster.
