541 women SHGs in Kanniyakumari receive ₹76.38 crore in bank loan linkages

NAGERCOIL Tourism Minister S. Rajesh Kumar disbursed credit linkage orders worth ₹76.38 crore to 541 to women Self Help Groups (SHGs) in Nagercoil on Wednesday. He also distributed various welfare assistance during the event in the presence of Kanniyakumari MP Vijay Vasanth and district collector M. Prathap.

Speaking at the event Mr. Rajesh Kumar said that the Chief Minister had announced several schemes for the welfare of women and that they were being effectively implemented. He said that the annual loan disbursement target of Kanniyakumari district was ₹952 crore. Of this, nearly ₹400 crore had been disbursed during the current year alone.
