Donald Trump wants UFC fighters as assistants

After a series of combative press briefings between the Trump administration and journalists, the US president surprised many by reportedly offering Dana White, the head of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and a longtime friend, the role of White House press secretary. Trump praised White as a “violent fighter and warrior”, but US media reports say he has already turned down the offer.
