Pope Leo XIV arrived in Argentina on Sunday from Uruguay, where his tour began, facing calls to help bridge divisions after three years of austerity under President Javier Milei.
The visit to Buenos Aires is the first by a pontiff to the late Pope Francis’ homeland in nearly four decades.
