Delhi’s Mustafabad election official lodges police complaint seeking FIR over false Form 7s filing

The Hindu Impact The Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) of Mustafabad constituency has lodged a police complaint on Friday (November 7, 2026) seeking FIR under Section 31 of RP Act against the BLA following The Hindu’s report that false Form 7s have been filed seeking deletions of voters who are living at their addresses.

“In connection with reports appearing in print and social media regarding false and fabricated Form-7, a police complaint has been lodged today by the ERO for registration of an FIR under Section 31 of the RP 1950 against the BLA,” a press release from his office also stated.
