Billie Eilish’s $20,000 tour-linked donation has helped create a thriving new native woodland in Austin’s Zilker Park, with the project now reporting an 85% tree survival rate. The Billie Eilish Grove, detailed by Chron and Zilker 351, was planted in March 2026 and is already helping slow and filter stormwater before it reaches Barton Creek.
The 6,000-square-foot grove sits along a walking trail south of Barton Springs Pool, within the recharge zone of the Barton Springs segment of the Edwards Aquifer. It was funded through Eilish’s Changemaker Ticket Program, an initiative connected to the environmental nonprofit REVERB that raised $11.5 million during her HIT ME HARD AND SOFT tour for environmental and social causes.
