Hong Kong temperatures exceed 38 degrees as Severe Typhoon Dolphin brings extreme heat

Temperatures exceeded 38 degrees Celsius (100 Fahrenheit) in parts of Hong Kong on Saturday as the city’s forecaster warned that extremely hot weather would persist over the coming days.

The Hong Kong Observatory said Severe Typhoon Dolphin was bringing high temperatures to the region, with the heat expected to continue into early next week.
