Sankhuwasabha, Nov. 7: Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki said the government has introduced various programmes for young people, prioritising increased production and job creation. He said the initiative aims to encourage youth to become entrepreneurs in the province, while also boosting production and creating jobs.
The provincial government is prioritising youth entrepreneurship to strengthen the local economy. Karki said the government wants to create opportunities for young people in their home province, while increasing production and employment. “The situation is different now, and there are other factors to consider.
We have presented the budget for the current fiscal year, setting out several important programmes and plans,” he said. He added that limited resources and a constrained development budget had prevented the provincial government from carrying out as much development work as it had hoped. “In previous years, we laid foundations for development, prioritising road expansion and infrastructure construction,” he said.
