Boy, 4, dies after Range Rover crashes on country road

The single-vehicle crash involving a black Range Rover happened on Drumcross Road near Bathgate at about 16:30 on Friday. Sgt Dave Waddell said: "Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the boy who died at this extremely difficult time.

"Inquiries are ongoing and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash, or has any information that may assist, to contact us , external if they have not already done so. "I'd also ask drivers with dash-cams, who were in the area around the time, to review their footage for any images that could assist with our investigation." Copyright © 2026 BBC.
