1,000 complaints made to EU Commission’s anti-harassment team

BRUSSELS — Almost 1,000 requests have been made to the European Commission’s team of counsellors dealing with harassment complaints since the service was introduced in the fall of 2024, according to figures seen by POLITICO.
However, these advisers are not empowered to launch investigations into allegations of harassment, a Commission spokesperson confirmed.
